Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and join us on Friday, January 9, 2009, at 7:00 PM. As with past lectures, it will be held at 8028 Ritchie Highway, Suite 315, Pasadena, Maryland 21122. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the lecture will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. The event is free but because of limited space please RSVP to 866-730-9796. Refreshments will be provided.
Our January speaker is Brian Rohrbough, President of the Colorado-based “American Right to Life,” an organization dedicated to ending abortion by recognizing the God given right to life and establishing the personhood of every human being beginning at the very moment that biological life begins. “A.R.L.” opposes every “pro-life” initiative or legislation that compromises God’s enduring command “Do Not Murder”. If a law ends with “and then you can kill the baby” it is a bad law.
Brian's lecture is titled “The Pro-Life Industry Vs. The Pro-Life Ministry - Strategy Vs. Morality.”
Brian became active in the pro-life movement after his son Daniel was murdered at Columbine High School. Through his unrelenting years of investigation, he found an undeniable link between Columbine and our “culture of death.” This culture has its roots in the secular humanist teachings of Darwinism promoted by our Godless education system. When “survival of the fittest” and “natural selection” became the official policy of our government, Brian says, the legalized murder of innocent children through abortion became acceptable in the eyes of man.
Brian has been a guest on an extensive list of national and local television and radio shows including The O’Reilly Factor, The Oprah Show, The Today Show, CNN, NBC, ABC, and the CBS Evening News.. He has been quoted in virtually every major US newspaper and many foreign papers. He has guest hosted the Crosswalk radio show in Denver and is a recognized public speaker for Christian and pro-life causes. As with Colorado Right to Life he serves his position with American Right to Life without financial compensation.
Brian is married to Lisa and they have two children, Rachael 7 and Isaac 6, both are home schooled. There family attends Calvary South Denver Church.
